JENNIFER LADNER

 

Dancer and choreographer Jennifer Ladner is originally from Chicago. She danced in the companies of the Arizona Ballet Theatre, Dance Kaleidscope, and Gregory Hancock Dance Theater.


Jenni is now the Co-director/Choreographer for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Yuletide Celebration and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Holiday Spectacular. On a national scale, she has choreographed many Pops productions including Broadway Blockbusters, Leading Men of Broadway, A Cole Porter Celebration, The Beat Goes On – Music of the Baby Boomers, Sandi Patti’s Broadway, Pops Goes Vegas!, Disco Days & Boogie Nights, Guys and Dolls in Concert, and Irving Berlin: From Rags to Ritzes.


Jenni continues to perform and has toured widely with Ty Johnsons’ Sophisticated Ellington Symphony and Swing where she also made her Carnegie Hall debut. She is presently touring with Pops Goes Vegas as a Featured Dancer. In Indianapolis, she has worked with several theaters and is a frequent performer and choreographer with Beef and Boards Dinner Theater.


As a teacher, she has conducted master classes and workshops nationwide and is a judge for the Cathy Roe Ultimate Dance Competition. Presently she is an adjunct instructor of dance at Butler University and has recently joined the faculty of the Indianapolis School of Ballet to teach classes in Jazz.
