ISB | SUMMER DAY CAMP
BALLET & DEGAS (ages 6 - 10)
June 7 - 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Early arrival and late pick-up may be arranged for an additional fee.
Summer at the Indianapolis School of Ballet offers a unique creative experience for girls and boys. The works of Impressionist painter Edgar Degas provide the theme for a fun week long camp that offers dance instruction with our professional instructors and opportunities to explore visual arts, music and costuming with visiting artists.
•Daily ballet, tap, stretching and choreography classes
•Art, dance and music history
•Make your own art with visiting artists
•Make and decorate your own tutu or mask & costume
•Try musical instruments from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s instrument petting zoo
•Field trip and picnic lunch
•Fun with new and old friends (get a friend who is new to ISB to register for camp and both students get 10% off.)
Fees: $265 for five days. Fee includes all professional instruction, supplies, costume materials and a healthy snack each day.
Campers bring the required dance attire, dance shoes and a sack lunch each day.
Required dance attire:
Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, and black patent tap shoes with ribbon ties. (No halter style leotards please.)
Boys: Black biker shorts or tights, white T- shirt, white socks and white ballet shoes, black tap shoes
Kinney Dancewear has a large selection of dance attire and their employees are familiar with our preferred shoes styles.
