Class Cancelations and Schedule Changes

ISB may change class times and/or instructors under certain circumstances or if absolutely needed.  Please watch for postings on the bulletin board and email announcements.

Communication

The ISB staff uses email as the primary method for communicating important information to our students and their families.  Please make sure that the school has your most current email address and add admin@indyballet.org to your email contact list.  Schedule information and some announcements are also posted on the bulletin board in the front office area.

At the beginning of the school-year, you will be emailed the ISB Student Handbook and a link to a special web page for students and their parents.  Here you will find downloadable forms, the student handbook, rehearsal schedules, pictures we wish to share and links to helpful and ballet information.  For security reasons, this link is not on our public website, so we recommend that you bookmark it.

Snow or Inclement Weather

Please note that classes are not necessarily canceled when academic schools are closed due to inclement weather, since most dance classes are scheduled during the late afternoon and evening hours on weekdays.  Closings will be announced on TV Channel 13, Twitter, our web site, www.indyballet.org, and the email distribution list.  Once classes resume, make-up sessions will be scheduled, most often during the ISB make-up week at the end of the school year.
