Our talented students rely on the School’s world-renowned faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, magical performances, and over $45,000 in scholarships each year. Likewise, ISB relies on the generosity of our valued donors to further the School’s mission and commitment to excellence. A gift to ISB is an investment in the future of ballet in our community and the lives of our students.
Annual Fund Campaign in Support of Indianapolis School of Ballet
Indianapolis School of Ballet advances professional ballet and dance education in our community through world-class training and dynamic performances provided in a culturally diverse environment designed for the continual physical, intellectual, emotional, and artistic growth of all dancers.
Tuition and fees account for just 44% of the total costs to provide outstanding training for our students and exceptional performances. We depend on the generous contributions of foundations, corporations and individuals to bridge the gap.
Your gift to the 2016 – 2017 Raise the Barre Annual Fund Campaign provides tuition assistance for current students, salaries that retain excellent teachers, ongoing support for needed capital improvements as well as financial stability for today and security to assure our mission continues well into the future.
Please consider a gift to the 2016 – 2017 Raise the Barre Annual Fund Campaign to provide support for the yearly fiscal needs of Indianapolis School of Ballet.
Indianapolis School of Ballet needs your help to ensure we can continue to provide the best instruction, magical productions, and that tuition stays accessible to as wide an audience as possible. Although we generate income through tuition and ticket sales, we also rely on your donations. Raise the Barre offers you the chance to support us and our students through a fully tax-deductible gift.
The Indianapolis School of Ballet relies on the generosity of our community – our parents, alumni, friends, board members, staff, and the companies in our area – to meet ongoing needs. This year it will cost more than $723,995 to operate ISB. Tuition and fees alone cover just 54% of those operating costs. This does not provide the necessary financial resources to meet the needs of our students.
Supporters are recognized in various ways. Contributions of all sizes make a difference. Indianapolis School of Ballet is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Donations are tax-deductive to the amount allowed by law.
Corporate partners are as important as the bond between two dancers in a performance. Take pride in the unique opportunity to develop the next generation of talented dancers. We tailor our sponsorships to create benefits to advance your business goals, including live performance experiences, fun social occasions, and high-profile brand visibility.
The Indianapolis School of Ballet offers three annual productions – eight performances in all – that will see more than 6,000 patrons in 2016! From an annual student showcase to the holiday favorite The Nutcracker, ISB provides professional-quality ballet that inspires. Our patrons support students, education, the arts, ballet, classical music, and more!

Money can’t buy everything.
Indianapolis School of Ballet relies heavily on the generosity of our community to meet ongoing needs. At ISB, in-kind donations are just as important as monetary donations.
ISB offers many opportunities where in-kind donations help to relieve our own wallets. Whether you want to donate apparel for our Indy Ballet Classrooms, or donate tickets to an event for our Gala silent auction, we would love to talk to you about how you can help us. And if you have a significant donation you’d like to make, we’d love to work with you to create benefits to advance your business goals, including live performance experiences, fun social occasions, and high-profile brand visibility.

We consider our volunteers to be important ambassadors for ISB. As someone with “backstage” knowledge of our organization, you are uniquely positioned to share with the community not just our work, but the effects our work teaching ballet has on the students, and the effects the performances can have on people who see them –no matter their age.
ISB relies on countless volunteers to help us do everything from keeping kids organized before, during, and after performances; to ironing costumes; to helping orient new parents to the organization; to sewing ribbons on pointe shoes at the last minute. If you are interested in volunteering for the ballet, please click here for more information on how you can make a difference in our community!
