The entire Indianapolis Ballet family is passionate about making this timeless art form accessible to all members of the Indianapolis community – and your donations are what allows us to further that mission. For the 2017/18 fiscal year, there are two main campaigns Indianapolis Ballet hopes you will consider supporting:
The Indianapolis Ballet Education Fund is vital to our outreach programs that benefit children across Indianapolis. This annual fundraising campaign for the Indianapolis School of Ballet (formerly known as Raise the Barre) supports the Indy Ballet Classrooms program with Indianapolis Public Schools and provides tuition assistance for current students, salaries that retain excellent teachers, and ongoing support for needed capital improvements.
The Moving Forward Capital Campaign is the fundraising drive supporting the launch of Indianapolis Ballet, the first professional resident company based in Indianapolis in over a decade. The $1.2 million Moving Forward campaign will establish Indianapolis Ballet in the community leading up to and upon its official launch in January 2018, which will be followed by its debut season of world-class programming beginning in February.
A gift to these two major campaigns is an investment in the future of ballet in our community, the Indianapolis cultural landscape and the lives of our students. As a thank you to donors who give at least $50 during the 2017/18 year (August 2017 through July 2018), Indianapolis will send a gift package including an Indianapolis Ballet t-shirt, lapel pin and window cling so that you can show the community you support the world-class training and performances we provide.
Click the buttons to go directly to the donation page for each of these important fundraising campaigns, and continue to the menu below to learn more details on all the ways you can provide your support to Indianapolis Ballet and Indianapolis School of Ballet – including details on gifts from Indianapolis Ballet for annual donations of at least $50 and more perks at various giving levels.
Donations to the Indianapolis Ballet Education Fund and Moving Forward Capital Campaign of at least $50 include a few “thank you” gifts that will display your support – a lapel pin, window cling and t-shirt, all featuring the new “iB” logo – and recognitions in residency programs and on Indianapolis Ballet’s website and social media channels.
In addition, donations at select levels will include behind-the-scenes experiences and exclusive events with Company dancers in our studios, at residency performances and in the community. These rewards are designed with two goals in mind:
* ensuring your contribution goes towards funding these vital programs to the fullest extent possible
* expanding a community of supporters that will assist in establishing world-class ballet performances and instruction in Indianapolis for future generations to enjoy
As part of that collaboration with our donors, we appreciate your feedback and encourage you to reach out Director of Development Cindy Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or comments.

Indianapolis School of Ballet advances professional ballet and dance education in our community through world-class training and dynamic performances provided in a culturally diverse environment designed for the continual physical, intellectual, emotional, and artistic growth of all dancers.
Tuition and fees account for just 44% of the total costs for ISB to provide outstanding training for our students, resources to host exceptional performances and support behind our community outreach programs that aim to make a difference for youths in Indianapolis. We depend on the generous contributions of foundations, corporations and individuals to bridge the gap.
Your gift to the 2017/18 Indianapolis Ballet Education Fund (previously known as the Raise the Barre campaign) provides tuition assistance for current students, support for the Indy Ballet Classrooms program with Indianapolis Public Schools, salaries that retain excellent teachers, ongoing support for needed capital improvements as well as financial stability for today and security to assure our mission continues well into the future.
Please consider a gift to the 2017 /18 Indianapolis Ballet Education Fund to provide support for the yearly fiscal needs of Indianapolis School of Ballet.
Since the inception of the Indianapolis School of Ballet in 2006, the vision for Indianapolis Ballet, Inc. has been to launch a professional ballet company on the solid foundation of a successful school.
With that foundation firmly in place, now is the time for that vision to become a reality through the Moving Forward Capital Campaign.
On May 21, 2017, at its annual Spring Gala, Indianapolis Ballet, Inc. announced the launch of the public phase of the Moving Forward Capital Campaign. The campaign’s goal of $1.2 million will go directly towards the launch of the Indianapolis Ballet professional company in January 2018 and secure additional funding commitments for the company in consecutive years.

Indianapolis School of Ballet relies heavily on the generosity of our community to meet ongoing needs. At ISB, in-kind donations are just as important as monetary donations.
ISB offers many opportunities where in-kind donations help to relieve our own wallets. Whether you want to donate apparel for our Indy Ballet Classrooms, or donate tickets to an event for our Gala silent auction, we would love to talk to you about how you can help us. And if you have a significant donation you’d like to make, we’d love to work with you to create benefits to advance your business goals, including live performance experiences, fun social occasions, and high-profile brand visibility.
Supporters are recognized in various ways, and contributions of all sizes make a difference. Indianapolis School of Ballet is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Donations are tax-deductive to the amount allowed by law.

We consider our volunteers to be important ambassadors for ISB. As someone with “backstage” knowledge of our organization, you are uniquely positioned to share with the community not just our work, but the effects our work teaching ballet has on the students, and the effects the performances can have on people who see them –no matter their age.
ISB relies on countless volunteers to help us do everything from keeping kids organized before, during, and after performances; to ironing costumes; to helping orient new parents to the organization; to sewing ribbons on pointe shoes at the last minute. If you are interested in volunteering for the ballet, please click here for more information on how you can make a difference in our community!
At the Indianapolis School of Ballet, it’s a longstanding performance tradition to include special notes of encouragement for the performers in our printed performance programs. The dancers
(and instructors!) work so hard to bring beautiful performances to life at the stunning Toby Theater. Tell your favorite dancer how proud you are of their accomplishments!
