In May 2017, the Indianapolis School of Ballet took a monumental step towards establishing Indiana’s capital as one of America’s fastest growing artistic and cultural centers with the formation of the Indianapolis Ballet – the first professional ballet company to be based in the Circle City in over a decade.

By the end of 2017, the Moving Forward Capital Campaign aims to raise $1.2 million that will go directly towards the launch of the professional company and secure additional funding commitments in consecutive years.
While open auditions for full-time company members have passed, Indianapolis Ballet is still interested in dancers for its new Apprentice and Professional Level 9 Programs that will supplement the professional company.
