Maya Jacobson

Apprentice

Maya Jacobson, from Miami Beach, Florida, began her ballet training at Miami City Ballet School, where she trained for 13 years. During her time there, she performed featured roles including Second Theme in George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments and the Second Movement principal in Western Symphony. She also had the opportunity to perform with Miami City Ballet, under the direction of Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez, in productions such as George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Walpurgisnacht Ballet, and Alexei Ratmansky’s Swan Lake.

Most recently, as a trainee with Indy Ballet, Maya performed alongside the company in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Francis Veyette’s Bolero: Au Fou, and Sleeping Beauty. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and growing as an artist and is excited to join Indy Ballet as an Apprentice for the 2026–2027 season.
